Just weeks after arriving from England, Samson competed in his first event with Courtney. Entered at the Training Level, to let horse and rider get acquainted with each other, the pair had a lovely dressage test, before adding faults on the cross county or show jumping course to come home with the blue ribbon. Courtney also rode Dillon, who finished his 2nd horse trials and Irish Watercolour (Gaffney) who completed his 1st horse trials.
Justine Dutton, riding Patty Moshanko’s The Color of Kells, adding to the success of the weekend, adding good cross country and stadium jumping rounds on top of her dressage to finish in 7th place at the Novice Level.
