Star Dazzler at 2007 MCTA Young Event Horse Competition

Hughes' Star (Faith) gave birth to Star Dazzler (Simon) on Saturday, June 19, 2004. Simon was sired by Catherston Dazzler, sire of many successful event horses, whose credentials include placings at the Olympics and the Badminton Three-Day Event.

In 2008. Simon began competing in Horse Trials. He has earned ribbons at the Novice Level. He has also competed in the Young Event Horse Division, placing 1st at MCTA and 2nd at Waredaca. In 2007, he placed 1st in the three-year-old colt and gelding division of the Future Young Event Horse (in-hand) competitions at Waredaca and the Maryland Horse Trials.
