Christen Ireland was a Working Student at C-Square Farm during the summer of 2015 and sent us the following feedback on her experience with us.
“I decided to become a working student to train with a professional in the business and work on my riding full time. At C Square Farm I trained with Courtney Cooper, working on improving my skills in Eventing with my mare Sincy while competing in several Area II events.
“We both progressed tremendously and met many personal goals. I had ample opportunities to ride many horses and learn the process of starting some of the farm’s 2 and 3-year old homebreds. I learned many aspects of Courtney’s very successful sales business. I was there for the foaling of two of Courtney and Neal’s foals, while learning the processes of breeding, foaling and the aftercare of both mare and foal.
“My experience as a working student at C-Square Farm was so much more than having amazing training and riding opportunities, it was highly motivational and provided great learning experiences in all aspects of the equine industry.”
