5-7 - Morven Park Spring Horse Trials - Leesburg, Virginia |
| Courtney and Carlingford
Sky need qualifying scores in all 3 phases of the CIC** (International)
Division of this event in order to be eligible to compete in a Two-Star
Three Day Event this Spring.
They began the weekend with a lovely dressage test, placing
4th. Then then jumped cleanly around the cross-country course,
adding only a few seconds of time and maintaining their 4th place
standing. Finally they put in a good stadium jumping round, to
finish in 6th place and meet their qualifying goals.

25-26 - Fair Hill International Horse Trials - Elkton, Maryland |
| Courtney competed for the first time since
her back surgery ; she and Carlingford
Sky got back in the swing of things with a top ten finish at the
Preliminary Level. While Courtney has been recovering, friends of ours
have been riding some of the Event Team and sales horses. Rainey
Sealey rode The
Color of Kells and Siren's
Song, bringing home 4th place ribbons on both entries at the
Training Level. Maisy Grassie added to the weekend's success with
a 6th place finish on Toy Story, also at the
Training Level. Also competing for the Event Team were Rebe Gray and
Patty Moshanko. Rebe and her horse Gogo Kid completed their 1st
event at the Training Level, finishing in the top ten. Patty
competed in her 1st horse trials ever, riding Courtney and Neal's Hanna
to a 6th place finish at the Novice Level.

31 - June 2 - Waredaca Horse Trials - Olney, Maryland |
| On Friday, Courtney and Carlingford
Sky brought home the blue ribbon in their final outing before the
Bromont Three Day Event. Competing in an Intermediate Level
combined test, they finished first in the dressage and had a clean show
jumping round to top the field of competitors preparing for the
CCI** in Canada next week.
On Sunday, we had 4 entries at the Training Level: Rainey Sealey on The
Color of Kells & Siren's
Song, Maisy Grassie on Toy Story, and Rebe
Gray on Gogo Kid. All of the horses put in good dressage tests,
with The Color of Kells leading the way by winning his division.
Rainey and him went on to add clean stadium and cross county rounds to
win his division.
Maisy and Toy Story added a clean stadium round and only a few
seconds of time on Cross Country to finish 2nd in their division.
Rainey on her second ride, Siren's Song and Rebe riding "Kid"
had solid performances in all three phases with Siren's Song finishing
8th and Rebe completing her second Training Level event
