| August
- Fair Hill International Horse Trials - Elkton, Maryland |
| Rebecca Gray and her horse, Gogo Kid, led the
charge at the Fair Hill Horse Trials finishing 4th in the Training
division. Additionally Patty Moshanko had a good time with her The
Color Of Kells as did Neal on Hanna.
Courtney did the dressage and show jumping with Teddy and Woody but
decided not to run either horse since the footing on the course was very
hard because of the drought.

| August
- Pleasant Hollow Horse Trials - Pleasant Valley, Pennsylvania |
|
In late August it was Kim Russell's time to shine with her lovely mare,
Ashanti. She performed well in the dressage and then added nothing
to her score to win her Training division. It will be an especially
important memory for her as she lost her mare to a bout of colic in
November. We are all very sorry for her.
Patty Moshanko and Paul also went to Pleasant Hollow and won a 6th
place ribbon in her Novice division.

September - Waredaca Horse Trials - Olney, Maryland
|
| Teddy and Woody accompanied Courtney to
Waredaeca in September, both to compete in the Preliminary
divisions. Both boys jumped beautifully with Teddy ending up with
a 7th place rosette.
|
|
September - Menfelt Horse Trials - Fredrick , Maryland
|
| Woody and Teddy then made the trip to Menfelt
horse trials in Frederick, Maryland. The preliminary courses were
very tough, with show jumping being particularly difficult. Again both
boys were up to the challenge and both finished with 8th place ribbons.

September - Fair Hill International
Starter Trials - Elkton, Maryland
|
| Patty Moshanko and Rebe Gray took their
horses, Paul and Kid to the starter trials at Fair Hill, while Courtney
was in Unionville and both had their continued work and efforts
rewarded. Both jumped beautiful clears on cross country and Rebe
finished 3rd with Kid and Patty finished 4th with her Pinto, Paul.

September - Fair Hill at Plantation
Field Horse Trials - Unionville, Pennsylvania
|
| While Patty and Rebe were off in Maryland,
Courtney took Woody to the Fair Hill Futurity in Unionville. This
competition is set up for Young Horses and is designed to showcase
horses and their future ability. Woody jumped superbly and was 2nd
in the conformation in hand competition.

|
September - Middletown Pony Club Horse Trials - Chesapeake City, Maryland
|
| Teddy won the dressage at Preliminary and did
not look back. He jumped like a machine the rest of the weekend
and won the entire event going away.

October - Flora Lea Horse Trials -
Medford, New Jersey
|
| It was the babies time out at Flora Lea, and
Justine's first event with us grooming. On Saturday Jim Jam, Euro
and Clifton Safari all had very good competitions in the their divisions
unfortunately none came home with ribbons but they were all excellent.
On Sunday, the more experienced horses had a chance to compete with
Toy Master placing 5th in the Open Preliminary and his half brother Toy
Story, Woody, finishing the event with a classy, beautiful show jumping
round.
|
| October
- Waredaca Horse Trials - Olney, Maryland |
| The young horses next outings all went much
better than at Flora Lea. Jim Jam was 3rd out of 25 in the Open
Training with one of the very few double clear jumping rounds.
Weatherspoon was lovely and confirmed himself with a 2nd place finish in
the Open Novice out of division of 23 starters. King Reilly also
jumped right around and finished 9th in his division of his Open
Novice. Woody rewarded Courtney's efforts from the season with his
best round of the season and Courtney left cross country with a huge
smile for his effort.
Justine Dutton performed beautifully on Hanna and finished 2nd in a
very competitive Novice Rider division in her first outing with C Square
Farm.

| November
- Fair Hill at Plantation Field Starter Trials - Unionville,
Pennsylvania |
| With the fall weather moving in we took a
bunch of students and horses to the Starter Trials in Unionville.
Justine Dutton rode our friend Rainey's Squid and finished in the
ribbons with a lovely test and jumping rounds. Patty Moshanko took
Paul out and also finished in the ribbons. Courtney also took
Weatherspoon and King Reilly in the Training division and both finished
with ribbons as well.
Two newcomers to the eventing trials joined us. Ashley Bachman
worked hard all summer and fall and culminated her work in a ribbon in
the Elementary division with Hanna. Lauren Barone also joined us
on Jim Thorton's Adrian who she had been leasing. Adrian is quite
green to eventing and Lauren did a fabulous job educating him for the
future.
