Weave A Dream Horse Trials - Hampstead, Maryland |

Courtney rode Much More at the training level. After three weeks
without a cross country ride (because of the cancellation of his cross
country at Poplar Place), Phelps was very good, jumping clean cross
country and adding only a rail in stadium jumping to finish 4th.
Christine Weir also competed at training level on Severn Dandelion.
The pair had their best jumping rounds yet, but ended up outside of the
ribbons. |

April 13-17 -
Fox Hall Cup - Newnan, Georgia |

After being home only a week, Courtney and Bob headed back south for
the the CCI ** (Intermediate Level Short Format Three Day Event) near
Atlanta. They put in a great dressage test, placing in the top third
of competitors. On cross county, they were in the midst of a good
round, when they had an unfortunate run out at a corner in the water; they
completed the 10-minute long course with no other problems. They put
in a lovely stadium round on Sunday, adding only a rail to complete the
event with a qualifying score in anticipation of competing in a CCI***. |

Fair Hill International Horse Trials - Elkton,
Maryland |
| Courtney and Toy Story competed in the CIC**
(Intermediate Level International Horse Trials). He completed the
event with good efforts, including a lovely stadium jumping round on
Sunday. |

April 24 -
Flora Lea Horse Trials - Medford, New Jersey |
| While Courtney was competing at Fair Hill,
Rebecca Gray and Neal went to Flora Lea. In their first event of the
year, Neal and Hanna did well in dressage and stadium jumping, but had
some problems on cross country to finish out of the ribbons. Rebecca
and Which One's That performed well in all three phases, but had a
unfortunate error of course in stadium jumping to mar what would otherwise
have been a first place finish. |
