| The event team started off May with a
blue-ribbon Sunday. Courtney rode Much More at the preliminary
level, where they put in good performances in all three phases, adding only
a little bit of time on cross country to finish in 1st place. At the
training level, Courtney rode Promise Go Bragh, who also put in three good
phases, finishing just outside the ribbons. At the beginner novice
level, Kim Russell rode Amazing Again to a 1st-place finish. |

May 7-8 -
MCTA Horse Trials at Schwan Downs- Hunt Valley,
Maryland |

Neal and Hanna, competing at the novice level, started off great with
one of their best dressage scores, breaking 60%. Then jumped clean
in stadium, but had a few problems on cross country to finish out of the
ribbons. At the preliminary level, Courtney and Much More were in
the ribbons again, as one of only a few horses and riders to complete the
cross county under time with no jumping faults. They added only a
rail in stadium jumping to finish in 4th place. Courtney also rode,
Promise Go Bragh; competing at the training level, the pair, put in good
performances in all three phases, but finished out of the ribbons. |

| Rebecca Gray competed "Which One's That" at
the preliminary level. They had a great weekend, adding no jumping or time
faults in stadium or cross county to finish on the dressage score in 3rd
place. |

Fair Hill International Horse Trials - Elkton,
Maryland |

Courtney competed Much More and Toy Story, both at the preliminary
level. Much More had yet another fine showing, placing
3rd in the dressage. He finished cross country under time with
no jumping faults and added only a rail in stadium jumping to finish in
2nd place. Toy Story also did well, with no jumping faults in
stadium or cross country, adding only a little time on cross country to
finish out of the ribbons. .Kim Russell rode Amazing Again in the horse's first
competition at Novice. "Maize" continued to improve adding a clean
cross county round to good stadium and jumping tests, finishing just out
of the ribbons. |
