October 12 -15 - Radnor Hunt
International Three Day Event - Malvern, Pennsylvania |
| All set to compete in the CCI**
division, Courtney and Toy Story were instead disappointed
as "Woody" came up lame. Bone chips were discovered in
his stifle, and he underwent surgery in the beginning on
November. We look forward to him competing again,
hopefully in the Spring of 2007. |

October 28-29 - Waredaca Horse
Trials - Olney, Maryland |
| After very heavy rain moved
through the region late Friday night and early Saturday
morning, the competition Saturday, including the novice
divisions where we had four horses entered were cancelled.
We returned on Sunday with windy, but dry conditions to
compete at the Preliminary and Training Levels. Starting
the day were Cassie's Shot and Courtney, competing at
Preliminary. The pair had a very good dressage test,
placing second. They went on to jump clean in stadium
and on cross country, adding only a few seconds of time to
bring home the blue ribbon. Following in Cassie's hoof
steps was Luck Money, competing with Courtney at the
Training Level. They put in an equally good dressage
test, tying for the lead. They went on to jump clean
in stadium and on cross country as well, also taking home
the blue ribbon.

Chocolate finishing 3rd, Tater Tot 4th, and Kody out of the
ribbons. In the Beginner Novice, new students Shannon Riley
and Lauren Clark competed on Hanna and Squid respectively.
Both did well with Lauren finishing 9th and Shannon 10th.

Always a Lady. Leading throughout, the pair brought

In our final "home" horse trials of the year, Courtney
competed with Cassie's Shot at the Preliminary :Level and
Chocolate at the Novice Level. Cassie did well in all
three phases, placing 4th out of 25 in the dressage, going
clean on cross country and adding only a few rails on the
difficult stadium jumping course to finish 3rd.
Chocolate also did well all around, including clean stadium
jumping and cross country rounds to finish 8th |

November 17-18 - Ocala Fall
Horse Trials - Ocala, Florida |
|
Being farther south, Kathy Bell and Toy Master had
additional warm weather to compete in. Their final
outing for the year was at the Training Level. They
put in a good dressage test and were one of only 5
competitors in their division to jump double clear on cross
country and in stadium to finish in 4th place. |
