Courtney rode Toy Story (“Woody”) and Much More (“Phelps”) at the Preliminary Level. Both horses did well in the dressage on Friday with Phelps placing 4th and Woody 8th. They continued doing well in stadium jumping; Woody went clean an Phelps added only a rail. Then the skies opened up, and a rainy Saturday brought downpours for cross country; Courtney and Woody made it through on time and no jumping penalties to finish in 3rd place, while Courtney and Phelps added a penalty, dropping out of the ribbons.
