Courtney rode 5 horses in this one-day event at our winter home: Nevaeh at Training; Cirque (Smudge), Ligero (Chip), and O’Larry at Novice; and Molten Rock (Quarry) at Beginner Novice.
Nevaeh who moved up to Training for the first time had a very good outing. She scored 31.8 in dressage, added ony a rail a stadium and jumped clear on cross country to finish 5th.
Smudge scored 33.9 in dressage before jumping clear in stadium and on cross country, where he added a little time to finish 8th. Chip scored 34.8 and also jumped clear in both phases with a little time on cross country to finish 9th. Larry finished dressage with a 33.9 before adding just a rail in stadium and a little time on cross country to finish 12th.
Quarry had a good day finishing 10th in only his 2nd recognized event.
