Courtney rode Star Dazzler (Simon), Blonde Ambition (Sandy), and Mr. Parks at Training. All three did well in the dressage, placing within a few points of each other in 6th, 7th, and 8th place. Simon went on to jump clear and under time in both cross country and stadium to finish in 5th place. Sandy jumped clear and under time on cross country, but added a rail in stadium jumping to end up 8th. Parks also went clear on cross country, but he added some time and a couple rails to finish out of the ribbons.
At Preliminary, Who’s a Star and Eyore put in good dressage tests and stadium jumping rounds, but with both of them qualified for the upcoming CCI 1* at the Virginia Three Day Event, Courtney decided not to run them cross country in the rain.
