Courtney competed with Who’s a Star (Tag) at Intermediate. They put in a nice dressage test placing 2nd. Then before jumping began, we were once again at an event deluged with rain.
After an hour delay for thunderstorms, stadium began, with most of the competitors, including Courtney and Tag jumping in the rain. They had a good round, but unfortunately pulled the last rail.
After a quick change to larger studs in Tag’s shoes, the pair headed off to cross country. Tag ran great; he jumped very well through several tricky combinations and galloped home just a few seconds over time to finish 3rd, just 1 second out of first place.
