After very heavy rain moved through the region late Friday night and early Saturday morning, the competition Saturday, including the novice divisions where we had four horses entered were cancelled. We returned on Sunday with windy, but dry conditions to compete at the Preliminary and Training Levels.
Starting the day were Cassie’s Shot and Courtney, competing at Preliminary. The pair had a very good dressage test, placing second. They went on to jump clean in stadium and on cross country, adding only a few seconds of time to bring home the blue ribbon. Following in Cassie’s hoof steps was Luck Money, competing with Courtney at the Training Level. They put in an equally good dressage test, tying for the lead. They went on to jump clean in stadium and on cross country as well, also taking home the blue ribbon.
