Sydney Schultz

Sydney Schultz is a working student from Covington, Louisiana. Sydney found out about Courtney after looking for horses to buy through the farms sales business. She and her horse “Baci” are spending the summer learning and training with us at C Square Farm. They have been partners since meeting at C Square in September of 2017. Sydney has been riding for 14 years and looks forward to completing her first Training level event in 2018.

Sydney is going into her Senior year at Christ Episcopal School where she has attended since Pre-K. Sydney has a strong love for horses that began when she was three years old when she used to ride her  mini horse “Jingles”. Sydney began riding competitively with a trainer at the age of seven. Sydney has won many Champion and Reserve Champion titles with various horses in our local Eventing club (SEDA). She qualified for AECs in 2017 in the Beginner Novice division, on a horse (Dolce) she raised from three years old. Her passion for horses, raising, training, caring, and competing has never wavered from when she was a toddler.

Sydney also has a great reputation in the Athletic department at Christ. Her favorite school sports being volleyball and basketball, and winning State Championship in basketball 2017-18. Sydney was also named 1st Team All District, in her Class C Division V pick. We will be very sad to see her go back to Louisiana in the Fall!
