People often ask why they become owners of event horses. One of our long-time owners, Janice Gordon, shares her thoughts.
“There’s no better way to experience the sport of eventing than being an owner of one of these special horses. You’re no longer just a spectator on the sidelines!
As an owner, you have the opportunity to follow the progress of your horse through its training and competitions via photos, videos and frequent personal updates from Courtney.
As an added benefit you will be invited to visit Courtney’s farms, both at her home in Pennsylvania and away in Aiken, and attend competitions and coaching sessions which provide a personal look into the training and management of the horse. A further benefit of these visits is experiencing and learning about the equine industry, not only from Courtney but from other top professionals such as veterinarians, farriers, other trainers and riders, grooms,etc. that are involved with your horse. It is a thrill to watch Courtney being coached on your horse by equestrian greats such as Olympian Boyd Martin, grand prix dressage rider Silva Martin and jumping coach Richard Picken.
