Welcome to C Square Farm. We are home to the domestic and consignment horse sales program of 5-Star International Eventing Rider Courtney Cooper. C Square Farm also serves as her base for her teaching and training operations, which is located in Aiken, SC, from January to April and in Nottingham, PA, from May to December.
Our goal in the sales and consignment process is to support our clients to pursue their passion and ambitions by providing them service in an honest, transparent and thoughtful manner. We do this by knowing the horses we sell, and being forthright about their individual strengths and weaknesses.
When helping someone buy a horse, we spend time finding out about what our clients want to do and what is important to them, including athletic ability, temperament, and personality of the horse. We base our recommendations on these attributes and then source out horses accordingly.
When taking horses on consignment, sometimes referred to as being a seller's agent, we take the time to find out what is important to the client in finding their horse a new home. We want to understand their relationship with their horse and to learn what management, training, and care has worked for them in the past, as well as what may have been less successful. We pride ourselves on finding the right home for each horse the first time instead of just a quick sale that is perhaps not the best match.
Along the way, we work hard to provide a level of honesty and transparency that is uncommon in our industry.
Courtney and C Square Farm have been selling horses for over 25 years. They are the leading sellers of Event horses in the United States, averaging sales of over 50 horses per year for the last 10 years. Our horses sold have competed in the highest levels of Eventing, including at the Kentucky 5-Star Three Day Event. They have been winners at all levels, including several at the American Eventing Championships.
We do more than specialize in Eventing horses. We have had success selling horses to the hunter, jumper, and equitation ring with riders competing up and down the East and West Coasts and at the most prestigious shows, including the Winter Equestrian Festival.
We also sell horses into other disciplines such as foxhunters and dressage, where we have had winners through 4th Level.
The match between horse and rider is paramount to us, and we strive to find the right connection between horse and rider. We love it when our clients stay involved with C Square Farm and report back to us on their own successes in and out of competition. We enjoy watching the partnerships grow and succeed and welcome updates via email, text, Facebook, and Instagram.

These are challenging times for everyone, and we want to give an update about our status here at C Square Farm. First, we’ve chosen to stay in South Carolina for the immediate future. The weather is beautiful and the horses have been enjoying the great footing in our outdoor, unlimited hacking and the cross country course.
We’ve been able to continue to market and show horses to prospective buyers, taking a very cautious approach which includes having guests meet us in the arena and not entering our barns.
For those clients that aren’t able to travel, we’re happy to talk to you at length on your needs and send extensive videos to aide you in your purchase decisions.
With several horses sold recently, we do have room in the barn to take more horses in to sell for their owners. We know that times are tough for some, so we’re willing to work with owners on options.
As is always the case our relationships with our clients is paramount so first and foremost stay safe and secure and please let us know if we may be of service, feel free to call or text 610-952-5347 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
