Heavenly Star (Faith) gave birth to Rock Star (DJ) on Tuesday, April 1, 2008. A full sister to our two-year older hombred R Star (Hope), Rock Star was sired by R. Johnson, a Dutch Warmblood whose sire, G. Ramiro Z, has produced many successful horses including show jumper Ratina Z, gold medalist in the 1992 and 1996 Olympic Games.
As a 2-year-old, DJ learning to lunge, drive, and be ridden. After just 4 days of being ridden (about 6 weeks from first being bridled), she had mastered walk, trot, and canter on both leads.
In 2012, she gave birth to Grove of Stars, a colt sired by thoroughbred Cocount Grove. She then went back to work and completed her first horse trials in March of 2013 and then competed at Beginner Novice and Novice in 2013.
