Courtney and crew are prepping for a busy weekend, with 8 horses going to Fair Hill International Horse Trials.
And that’s just the horses from the farm, several C Square Farm graduates and students will also be there competing: Kelley Beaver with Excel Star Pluto, Jessica Chappell with My Atlantic Spark (formerly Excel Star Atlantic), Paige Crotty with Excel Star Armina Z and Excel Star E.I. Revere, Molly Koch with Lowhill Toome Diamond, Melanie Martinez with Sibon Rose, Hillary Moses with Excel Star Gladiator, and Cassie Plumb with Excel Star Eye Candy. Stay tuned to Facebook and Instagram for updates throughout the weekend!
The other exciting new for the week is that Believe in the Stars (aka “Bits”) is still pregnant! So that means that we made it … thanks to everyone’s good juju! Of course we hope that Bits remains pregnant for a few more weeks, but we’ve successfully reached the safe zone. Now we just need a healthy foal and we can breathe a sigh of relief.
This week’s video features longtime student Kelly Beaver and her youngster Excel Star Pluto. She’s had him a year now and has done a great job bringing him along. We wanted to celebrate her upcoming anniversary with him by showing him off past and present.
Remember that Courtney is still offering virtual lessons for those that aren’t able to trailer out for lessons due to COVID19, and payment is on a “pay-as-you-can” basis. This has been a popular option for some of our clients who have purchased horses and live in more remote areas.
Please be sure to stay in touch, either via phone, email or one of our social media outlets. Let us know how you’re doing … but know that we can’t wait to be able to see you in person soon. And don’t forget to tune into our Facebook page every Tuesday at 12noon for a Facebook LIVE event. We had to skip this week because of weather, but will see you this next week. This week we plan on discussing keeping your barn and records organized.
All the best,
Courtney and Neal
PS Don’t forget about our our small business feature in future e-newsletters and on our Facebook page. To participate simply email Margaret with your logo (or other photo) and description, and she’ll take it from there.
