Checking in from Aiken 6/5/2020

This week brings two new horses flying over from Ireland, Excel Star High Hopes and Excel Star “yet to be named” (name suggestions welcome!).

Excel Star High Hopes has competition experience in Ireland and is going to be an amazing eventing or jumping partner for someone in the US.

Our yet to be named horse is a 4-year-old mare that our partners in Ireland have decided to sell because of the pandemic. She was going to be aimed at the 4-year-old International Show Jumping Championships at the Dublin, Cavan and Millstreet horse shows. But with the cancellation of shows, she has not been able to compete and therefore has not added to her resume. This has created an amazing opportunity for me.

I did not have the intention at this point in the year to add another horse to my competition string, however, I feel she is too good to pass up. I’ve decided to put together an ownership group to purchase this incredible mare for me to train and compete to the highest levels. The plan is to sell 10 shares at $5,000 per share, along with a modest annual maintenance fee. All of these fees could be tax deductible. And half shares are available for those that are interested.

We have five people who have already decided to join us on this journey, so we’re looking for a few more. Keep scrolling down for a video of her schooling in Ireland to see why I’m so enamored with her. There is more video available, and I would be glad to talk about her with anyone interested.

Don’t forget that Courtney is still offering virtual lessons for those that aren’t able to trailer out for lessons and payment is on a “pay-as-you-can” basis. Click HERE to learn more about this special service for those affected by COVID19.

Please be sure to stay in touch, either via phone, email or one of our social media outlets. Let us know how you’re doing … but know that we can’t wait to be able to see you in person soon! And don’t forget to tune into our Facebook page every Tuesday at 12noon for a Facebook LIVE event!

All the best,
Courtney and Neal
