Two big things happened last weekend … First Believe in the Stars (aka “Bits”) had her foal! A healthy, BIG, colt
 that we’re calling Ghost for the moment. Janice Gorden, a longtime friend and a member of the Dare to Dream Team (who owns David, Player and DC), came up with the show name Storybook Star, which we love. This means that we’re officially done with foal watch for the year, and now we just get to play with THREE cute babies all fall! Stay tuned to Facebook and Instagram as we’ll be sure to post #foalspam photos there first!
The second bit of good news is that Courtney took new import Excel Star Now or Never to his first show, and he was just awesome! He finished 2nd in the 5-year-old Young Event Horse class, and Excel Star Quidam’s Cavalier was 2nd in the 4-year-old Young Event Horse class, which means both horses are qualified for the East Coast Young Event Horse Championships! Excel Star Just Right also finished 3rd in his first Training-level event. Please take a moment to watch videos from the weekend below.
