Heavenly Star (Faith) gave birth to her 6th foal and our 7th homebred overall on Thursday afternoon, June 9, 2011. Landon (barn name) is sired by Holsteiner stallion Landfriese II. It took months and many good suggestions for a formal name beginning with “D” (per the Holsteiner naming convention), before we settled on Determined to be a Star.
After growing up at her mother’s side, she was weaned in November 2011 and is now living with our 2012 hombred, Grove of Stars (Grover) an Irish Sport Horse / Dutch Warmblood / Thoroughbred Colt.
