Another weekend, another horse show! The bonus for this weekend was getting to watch one of our graduates–Sir Patico MH–compete in the MARS Wellington Eventing Showcase with his longtime owner Cornelia Dorr. While those two were having fun in Welly World, our team took a few to Pine Top Farm in Georgia for their first competition of the year. Winter student Jen Achilles led the way with her Excel Star Lance to finish 3rd in her Beginner Novice division. Jen comes to us all the way from New Mexico, and it’s so wonderful to see her hard work and commitment paying off! Courtney took C Square homebreds R River Star and Hunting Stars out for their first show of the season. They both were great and knocked off some rust to finish just out of the ribbons. And working student Sydney Schultz joined us with Excel Star B to have another great ground at Training level. Special shoutout to Alyssa for having a great first show of the season with her two homebreds R Perfect Storm and Stormin’ Truth. And finally, we had a small contingent competing at the Florida Horse Park. Can’t wait to see what next weekend brings!
