Courtney showed Valley of Knowledge in the 4-year-old East Coast Young Event Horse Championships.
Unlike a typical event, scoring is subjective in all three phases: confirmation, dressage, and jumping/galloping/general impression. All of the competitors at the Championships qualified earlier in the year by earning at least 75% in one event or 70% in two events.
Valley, who only started in competing in July, scored 77% in confirmation, 84% in the dressage and 78% in jumping for a overall weighted score of 79.71 finishing in 6th place.
