On Saturday, Courtney rode our oldest homebred, Who’s a Star (Tag) at Beginner Novice. They put in a good performance in all three phases, including jumping clean in stadium and on cross country to finish 2nd. Kelley Merrette competed with Hanna at Novice. They also did well adding only a rail in stadium to their dressage and finishing with a clean cross county round to place 6th.
On Sunday, we returned with our younger homebreds, R Star and Star Dazzler, competing in the Future Young Event Horse Classes. In the yearling filly division, R Star (Hope) placed 2nd, with a 73%. Star Dazzler (Simon) placed 1st in the 3-year-old gelding and colt division with a score of 68.5%.
