Courtney competed with R Star (Hope) and Who’s a Star (Tag) at Preliminary as well as Persia June at Training. Hope placed third in dressage, jumped clear in stadium, with a little time, and went clear on cross country to finish in 3rd place.
Tag, who is continuing his recovery from colic surgery in January, was competing in his first horse trials. He scored 24.6 to tie for the lead in dressage, and jumped clear in stadium, also with a little time. As planned, we only competed him in those two phases and not on cross country.
Persia had a good dressage test, scoring 30.5 in a competitive division of 20 horses. She went on to jump clear and under time in stadium and on cross country to finish on her dressage score in 7th place.
