Keeping Up with C Square Farm!
September was a busy yet successful month for the team at C Square Farm! Courtney was busy putting valuable mileage on her young imported Irish horses (who are FOR SALE!) and continuing to give her up-and-coming stars confidence at the upper levels. We’ve also made a bunch of new partnerships with the horses in our sale barn. We’re so excited to watch them all thrive in their new homes. Competition Results
September competitions began at the Surefire Farm Horse Trials where Courtney participated in the USEA Young Event Horse 5-year-old division with sale horse, Excel Star Mesmerise. Courtney was pleased with her performance as she’s still gaining confidence in the sport. They finished just outside of the ribbons.
Next up for the team was the Flora Lea Fall Horse Trials where Courtney kept quite busy! Barn favorite, Excel Star Kenzo finished in 3rd place in his first ever horse trials in the Beginner Novice Horse division on his dressage score of a 33.4! He is FOR SALE! Homebred Rising Star contended the same division, where he finished just outside of the ribbons but put in a very respectable performance. Excel Star Mesermise finished in 4th place in her Novice Horse division on her dressage score of a 30.2! She is FOR SALE! Irish import Excel Star If Never had a great day in the Open Novice division where he finished in 4th place as well on his dressage score of a 29.8. To round out the weekend Caia Z made her big move-up to Preliminary where she finished outside of the ribbons, but tackled the courses with confidence!

Immediate Job Opening at C Square Farm
Assistant Groom Position – This position would be best suited to someone with previous experience working on the eventing scene. The job would require but not be limited to, some braiding, tacking, untacking, traveling to competitions, and general horse management. This is a great opportunity to heighten one’s skills and work alongside a very knowledgeable staff. Some riding could be available to the right candidate. Compensation includes: some pay depending on previous experience, housing, the opportunity to have 1 horse, would include at least 3 lessons a week, and free shipping to and from events.
