Courtney rode Blonde Ambition (“Sandy”) and Mr. Parks, both at the Training Level. In her first event at this level, Sandy put in a good dressage test, and went clear in stadium jumping. She went well on cross country, but had a green stop, putting her out of the ribbons in 9th place. Mr. Parks was competing at Training for only the 2nd time, the first being over a month ago. He also did a good job in the dressage, however Courtney tried him in a new bridle in the jumping phases, with less than hoped for results, and he finished 11th.
