The Event Team started off the year with a busy schedule at our first Horse Trials of 2007. Thankfully, the event was at Full Gallop Farm, our winter home, so no trailering was necessary. Emily Hamel riding Grenadier Guard and Sara Gartland riding Always a Lady led the way competing at Training. Placing 2nd in the dressage, Emily went on to add clean stadium jumping and cross country rounds to finish in 1st place. Sara also jumped clean in stadium and cross country to place 9th.
Courtney competed on three horses, all at Novice. Chocolate followed the standard set by Emily adding clean jumping rounds to a good dressage test to finish in 2nd place. Dante and Cloud also had good performances finishing 6th and 7th respectively.
