From New York City, Kiri relished spending time in the country as well as the normal farm activities. She rode Joy Busbice’s Chester Street, while Joy was recuperating from an injury. Kiri and Chester competed in her first horse trials, jumping clean and finishing fifth at the beginner novice level at the Pleasant Hollow Horse Trials.
