Courtney also rode Dark Chocolate Mousse, who did very well in the dressage, scoring 25.8. He went on to jump clean in stadium, but unfortunately took a peek at the water on cross country to finish 9th.
At Training, Courtney placed 1-2 with Dunlavin No Pajamas finishing 1st and Tag finishing 2nd, each on their dressage scores of 27.9 and 29.5, respectively. Dunlavin Fox also did well, but as it was his first event of the year, he was a little rusty and finished out of the ribbons.
And at Preliminary, Courtney rode Toy Story, who had solid performances in all three phases to finish 9th.
