Four year-old Nevaeh lead the way for the Event Team. She and Courtney did well in dressage, but were uncharacteristically in 7th place. However, they went on add a clear stadium jumping round to move up to 3rd and then a clear cross country round to finish 1st.
Courtney and Who’s a Star (Tag) competed at Intermediate for their final outing before the Fair Hill International Three Day Event CCI. They had another good dressage test, placing 4th. The they then went on to jump clear and under time in both stadium and on cross country to finish in 2nd place. They were 1 of only 6 horse/rider combinations out of three divisions of Intermediate to finish on their dressage score.
Courtney also competed at Training with the Cowley family’s Gabriella Rosellini and sale horse Fifi Brindacier. Gabby placed 4th in the dressage. She and Courtney moved up to 3rd with a clear stadium round, and finished 2nd after a completing cross country under time and with no penalties. Fifi, who had been competing in jumpers the last several years instead of eventing, also jumped clear and under time in stadium and on cross country to finish 5th.
