Plantation Field Horse Trials – Unionville, PA. April 14-15, 2012

Courtney competed with R Star (Hope) at Preliminary for the first time, Decorated (Artie) & Persia June at Training, and What It Takes (Tic Tac) & Sport at Novice. Gillian Cowley rode Gabriella Rosellini (Gabby) at Training.

Saturday started with several very good dressage tests; Hope (24.6), Gabby (27.3), and Artie (29.1) all led their divisions; Tic Tac (30.4) placed 4th while Persia and Sport did well but placed out of the ribbons.

All of the horses had good stadium jumping rounds, but they all added at least a rail to their score. Gabby held on to her first-place position, while the other horses dropped a few placings.

Sunday brought cross country. Hope went first jumping clear with a little time to finish 3rd. All three training horses jumped clear and under time, with Gabby finishing 1st, Decorated 4th, and Persia 11th. Tic Tac jumped clear and under time to finish 6th, and Sport had a good round, but got distracted out of the start box to finish out of the ribbons.
