The Event Team brought home 2 blue ribbons from our second event of 2014. At Beginner Novice, Courtney and Canadian Cancade led from start to finish, scoring 25.8 in dressage and jumping clear in stadium and on cross country. Courtney also rode Amalia at Beginner Novice. Competing in her first horse trials, Amalia scored 31.1 in dressage and also jumped clear. However, she added some time on cross country to finish out of the ribbons.
Student Hannah Rankin rode her mare Florescent Adolescent at Training. They scored 25.7 to lead a 19-horse division that included several experienced professionals. They jumped clear and under time in stadium and on cross country to win their division.
Courtney also competed Sport at Preliminary. They had a good dressage test, but had some trouble in stadium, sliding into a fence and ending their day.
