Just a week after returning home to Pennsylvania, Courtney and Who’s a Star traveled back to the south to compete in the CIC 3* at the Fork Horse Trials in Norwood, NC. The competition started on Thursday with dressage; Courtney and “Tag” did their dressage test Friday morning.
They were the 14th of 56 horses to go in the dressage and put in a great test, scoring 47.9 to take the lead. A few horses later in the day moved ahead of them by a few points, with the pair being placed 6th after all 56 horses did their tests.
On Saturday, they competed in stadium jumping. They had a good round, dropping a single rail and finishing 1 second over time. They went into Sunday’s cross country in 21st place.
Courtney and “Tag” had a great cross country round, jumping clear with a little time. They moved up 3 places to finish 18th.
