Courtney brought Star Dazzler (Simon) down for the Young Event Horse competition on Friday afternoon. The trip was well worth it as Simon was the Champion 5 year old. He has qualified for the Young Event Horse Championships to be held during the Fair Hill International Three-Day Event.
Courtney returned on Saturday with four Training-level horses. Courtney rode Simon, Mr. Parks and Blonde Ambition (pictured above right) while Jasmine rode her mare On April’s Dawn (“Bella”) in her last competition with us. All four horses had clear cross-country rounds. The competition was quite fierce with Jasmine placing the highest with a 6th place. Simon finished on his dressage score to finish 7th and Mr. Parks added a rail to place 9th. Blonde Ambition finished on her dressage score in a rather large Open Training division to finish the day at 11th.
